Unfortunately there isn’t a further breakdown on what ethnicity the police officers were that shot so it’s impossible to say that it’s purely white police that shoot black criminals.

20 years ago tonight (its still the 26th), the team i was the starting goalie for (the Islanders) played a playoff game (semi final) and won (in OT 2 to 1). because of the Win, we played in the best of 3 Finals (which we won in 2 games).

It also prevents us from moving forward and finding solutions to the problem. But then that would mean change, and we all know about change. That's where the fear is. I think media orgs would rather have the debate, black vs cop, than the occupy movement, 1% vs the rest.

At least with the former, the solution is ‘law and order’.. I can’t see either party from the major institutions in the US deviating from that message.
