I’ve got a question, how the hell do the political parties get anything done over there with election cycle being so long?
if you’re in opposition, between the primaries and then election that pretty much takes up a whole four year term.

I’m not sure if you’re familiar with the Australian system but the above would be over in a month.

part about the time between the primaries and the general election part i think goes back to the days of the Horse and buggy (AKA the ye olde days) and fall harvest too. i know the whole election cycle is long.

The way I view all politicians is like those dirty old underwear that sit in the back of the cupboard, you know the ones that have holes in them, the bands half gone and frayed. You don’t know why you’ve still keeping them, as they should’ve been thrown out years ago but they’re still there..

so the question is, do you find interesting that a footy forum half a world away is discussing your dirty laundry?
