Call me cynical, but what are the chances that he and Melania suffer relatively minor or no symptoms?

He can then push his "it's a hoax and only losers with pre-existing health conditions die from it" agenda. At the same time calling out Biden for being a mask wearing sissy boy who's afraid of something that's no worse than a common cold for someone in as "tremendous" health as DJT.

He can also hang at home smashing buckets of KFC and watching Fox News rather than having to hit the campaign trail for at least a couple of weeks. He'd have to be happy with that.

I can very much see this as the genesis of a 'Trump stared down Covid and defeated it' narrative.
