I drank Snake Soup in Hong Kong in October 2018
It’s a delicacy HongKongRoo ‘eh?
Fwiw I am alive and fine
It was the plain pork Dumplings that gave me the brazen shitz two days b4
I actually use to go to Wuhan for work quite often.
I did have turtle blood soup where they bring in a live turtle and cut its neck in front on you. Also have eaten many chicken like foods that after a few Chinese wines (70%) you tend to eat anything.

Come home from work, poured myself a single malt glenfiddich and switch on the TV and second half of the round 22 1998 North vs Bulldogs is just beginning.
******* awesome
Mate, in Australia people drink the blood straight from a kangaroo’s jugular. Shits been going on forever. The Mongols used to ride a horse as far as it would carry them, once it was done, they’d cut the jugular and drink the blood before jumping on the next horse. We’re top of the food chain for a reason

Stevens last half was magnificent.Spoiler alert
It all ends in a ******* heap of tears a month later
Sorry mate I’m not crocodile Dundee![]()

Snake_Baker i know you weren’t a fan of the last podcast I shared but I think this is right up your ally. Once they get into Bretts biology studies it’s pretty awesome

All of our Mice are Broken. On this episode of The Portal, Bret and Eric sit down alone with each other for the first time in public. There was no plan.
There was however, a remarkable story of science at its both best and worst that had not been told in years. After an initial tussle, we dusted off the cobwebs and decided to reconstruct it raw and share it with you, our Portal audience, for the first time. I don't think it will be the last as we are now again looking for our old notes to tighten it up for the next telling. We hope you find it interesting, and that it inspires you younger and less established scientists to tell your stories using this new medium of long form podcasting. We hope the next place you hear this story will be in a biology department seminar room in perhaps Cambridge, Chicago, Princeton, the Bay Area or elsewhere. Until then, be well and have a listen to this initial and raw version.
Don't put you feet up on the dash while a car is in motion!
Airbag injury from non fatal impact @50kph:
I'd suggest you leave it alone. Impeachment proceedings have commenced but to be "impeached" would require it to be passed by the senate in which the Republicans hold power. He will win a second term and his only credible threat is Bloomberg.Trump's already been impeached.
Yeah I lived in HK for a while, gave the snake soup a wide berth, tried scorpions a few time which on the whole weren't too bad, but despite the locals taking me to the "#1 Peking Duck Restaurant" in Beijing, I'll take the Flower Drum and half a dozen other Melbourne Chinese Restaurants any day.I drank Snake Soup in Hong Kong in October 2018

He's a bright cookie.
So is his brother & sister in law.
Yeh we went to a Restaurant down near where the Cruise Ships come in; everything was lost in translation but we ended up getting a banquet. 5/6 of the plates were excellent but there was one seafood dish plate that tasted like a mix between a face washer and dirty dish water. It’s a pity that I remember it all these months later, but it was probably the second most revolting plate I have ever had in my 50 years...Yeah I lived in HK for a while, gave the snake soup a wide berth, tried scorpions a few time which on the whole weren't too bad, but despite the locals taking me to the "#1 Peking Duck Restaurant" in Beijing, I'll take the Flower Drum and half a dozen other Melbourne Chinese Restaurants any day.
