His impression of Meghan McCain is so outrageous but hilarious. Bit too much to share on here though....

There you go Mutts 👍

Is amazing that Melbourne does this, we're a world leader in the actual industries of the future, yet we have to be ruled by coal-worshipping religious troglodytes from north of the border.

Victoria needs to break free of the failing Australian federation asap.

Haha you are a classic.

Yeah he was pretty decent eh?

I will do a bit more reading about him on the plane next week.

Haha you are a classic.

Why wouldn't we? Why should we be help back by frigging troglodytes from NSW and Queensland?

You people have NO IDEA of the change that is coming globally and how hard it is going to smash us if we stay on our current path.

I think it should be a lesson for Melbourne, if you’re good at something don’t give it away for free, we should’ve held the world to ransom and Martin Shkreli that shit. ;)

LOL, nah, China had already done it. The point is we don't have to share with China.

The Doherty Institute is a great thing ... and a testament to the vision of lots of people, especially government, to really maximise what we excel at.

China recreated the virus in the lab, we're the first place to do it outside China.

Can someone explain to me why the Liberal party changed Labour’s roll out of what would’ve provided Australia with top world standard internet, with something that’s obsolete before it’s even finished and given us worse internet then some third world countries?

Literally because politics is zero sum now, especially for the Libs. They do the opposition in government thing, they can't publicly accept any Labor ideas are good.

From the article I posted

After taking power in 2013, the Coalition government scuppered Labor’s plans for an NBN with 93 per cent fibre-to-the-premises (FTTP) coverage, and has instead rolled out a network comprising a hotchpotch of old and new technologies of varying quality, raising concerns that a “digital divide” is being created between those with access to fast and reliable internet and those without.

I’ll give the Andrews government a pass on that. He’s become increasingly unpopular because of all the roadworks slowing down Melbourne. IMO he’s doing what he believes needs to be done for Melbourne infrastructure because of our growing population and road congestion. He’s basically committed political suicide in doing it, but future generations will be great full.

Meanwhile our friends in Asian governments plan things 100 years in advance and our Pollys only care about getting re-elected.

Our politicians are microbes in comparison to the world stage. Literally pathetic.

BTW, as I have shown in dozens of posts on the SRP board.

"Climate Crisis" is unmitigated bullshit. Always be mindful of the environment, but don't allow yourselves to get roped in by politically motivated crap.

Ummmm, did you see the results of the last state election?

People mumble and groan about roadworks but when it comes to actually voting the thing that is important is whether the infrastructure stuff is being delivered in a competent fashion. The Westgate Tunnel looks like it may heading into incompetent territory though.

People in Victoria know the joint needs a big infrastructure build due the massive population growth.
