I'm trying real hard to be a better man for you.
sorry stiff arm,not sure I totally agree with you there. When I left Uni in the early 90's the unemployment rate was nearly 11% now its 4%, interest rates were in the mid teens, now they're 3%.The economy is in far better shape now than what it was in the 80's and 90's.
Sure there's some tough things for youth to deal with now, but it wasn't all a bed of roses for us of an older generation either
You might be asking the wrong Gen X-er. If he studied in NZ he'd have had a nice sized debt. What student debt did you leave with?

Trump makes a couple of errors while the teleprompter goes down and people act like it's the end of the world and he's almost dead. Obama did the same countless times. Bernie and biden have more health problems than you can poke a stick it. By comparison trump is an olympian.
The problem is joe actually thought ronda could beat floyd mayweather. There's a diffence between saying something for the people, to get a rise, or as a front. Joe actually believed it. And no i don't hold joe to the same standard. Some of us didn't just start listening to joe a year ago. As a UFC fan since it's existance I've seen Joe for over 2 decades. He's good but he's not this big free guy his new fans profess he is. Rogan is just as much of a sellout as anyone. He sold out his fans for Jack Dorsey but copped so much flack he had to get him back to save face - why did he throw soft balls? Because Jack owns square and square pays him 500k a year in sponsorship money (also why he only talks about bitcoin - so he doesn't upset his pay day and his friend Antonopoulos). He spend 3 hours with novitsky doing damage control for the UFC and Jon Jones because Rogan is a company guy when it comes to the UFC. 3 hours of soft balls and the post/like ratio of that video tells you all you need to know. He threw his own good friend Schaub under the bus on his podcast. He ghosted alex jones until he was called out on it. A friend for over 20 years because he was worried about the blow back. A mistake given that it was one of his most popular podcasts of all time.
So yes when you're giving joe rogan a virtual wristie during his next podcast try to remember that he is a human and not the bastion of thruth you make him out to be.
wasn't too bad as fees only came in my last year. What student debt did you leave with?

The other side of that though was that grads were only just getting minimum wage, that' s if they were lucky enough to get a job in the 90's.
Graduates in my field today are now starting on 60k..
look all generations will have their tough times.Im just trying to point out that contrary to some peoples beliefs it wasn't all a bed of roses back in my time
I hope I never have to make a name change. It's like changing from Jeanswest to IHop and your friends abandoning you because you don't rock the denim like you used to be able to.
yeah maybe. My grandfather had to leave school at 13 to cut down trees so the family would survive during the depression. so he would probably laugh at what some people would measure poverty as.I came out at what sounds like the same time as you, and I reckon we had it much easier financially. These little shits have things they expect as basics we would have viewed as unimaginable luxuries though.

I hope I never have to make a yet another name change. It's like changing from Jeanswest to IHop and your friends abandoning you because you don't rock the denim like you used to be able to.
I look forward to the massive ****-up I will have committed if that's the case.Fixed![]()
