It’s worse then woke, it’s fake woke. They’re major donors don’t want to lose power and that would’ve happened had they allow Tulsi or Sanders to run.

Woke has nothing to do with it. It is about economics economics economics.

Even when voters can be induced to think along cultural lines, it is far deeper stuff like abortion and religion, not pussy hats, that does it.

That's how it started for me, but I'd just go on some big benders and I met someone who would give it to me cheaply so it was always available. It was easy to stop tho so that's why I'd never consider it like heroin.

I had a good time but I saw a lot of people get ****ed up or over.

It was everywhere back then and all the gear was very easy to get, cos of all those anti aids needle exchanges. If it wasn't for that I'd have never considered it, and I had spent a few years sticking needles in animals in labs so they didn't seem intimidating ... honestly it seemed cleaner than sticking a fifty buck note that could have been anywhere up my nose.

I'd bump into people I hadn't seen for years and they'd be into it. There used to be billboards in Melbourne advertising safe injecting. At one point I saw some figures that reckoned 20% of 18 - 34 year olds in Melbourne were iv speed or meth users. 3 times higher than the people who just did lines or something. Who knows with those figures tho.

Its a long time ago now. Seems like another lifetime. To be honest it just got boring. You can only eaych so many sunrises while coming down before they just look grey and unpleasant.

I often wonder how a lot of those people ended up. I know some became junkies, a few ended up dead. That was a waste.

Yeah, it's one of those things... Its easy to get ****ed up on it.

To this day I don't really touch it. Maybe at a party once a year ... round Christmas or at New Years but only if someone I trust offers me a line, and usually then it turns out to be coke anyway.

I can't remember the last time I even did that... Probably three years ago. Three kids under 10 and 50 years old... those days are well and truly done.

I rarely even choof these days.
