I think people give Antifa too much credit. I’d guess most of the kids coming in from other neighbourhoods just want to smash stuff and loot for fun. The people that really believe in what’s happening would be just protesting.

Someone said it before but a bunch of American kids have been stuck at home since April with nothing but their own social media circles reaffirming their worldview and with no outlet to express themselves, little help from the government and not much hope in the future.. it's a recipe for anger. Couple that with the way society over there is totally polarised, throw in some aggressive s**t stirrers and antagonists (cops as well as rioters), and a government looking for a way to deflect it all onto a Boogeyman and this is where we end up

But it’s war on antifa, it’s a mythical group that’s going to have a violent revolution in America. That’s going to bring completely fair society.
