Our entire social structure centres around whiteness as a default. Asserting that “All Lives Matter” just reaffirms that reality. Obviously, every life is valuable, but not everyone’s lives are in danger due to their skin colour.

I've seen a number of things on social media over the past few days that show Biden being interviewed on television programs or whatever. Theres a particular one where he was asked if he'd like to apologise for any of the stuff that had happened regarding his alleged sexual assault of Tara Reade. For two whole minutes I watched as he not only failed to answer that question or address that allegation but also stammered, stuttered, and realistically failed to get out any coherent answer. And this man is supposed to get up on a stage in November and take on Trump, who for all his weaknesses and foibles is pretty good at attacking the man

It will be a bloodbath. I both do and don't see how the Democratic party have landed on Biden as their preferred candidate - I do because he is old money and party furniture, this is his birth right and he has always been the succession plan for after Obama. I don't see it because the DNC should have realised by now that he isn't the Biden that was kicking around as VP when Obama was in office, he's aged and he's arguably now a pre-senile doddery old milky-eyed fool who suffers from having a decades old sexual assault allegation hanging over his head

If the DNC lose the election it will be because they failed to cultivate any genuine challengers for the leadership that weren't 70+ years old. Biden will be 81(!) at the end of his first term as president if he wins. The DNC should recognise that younger generations can be persuaded to vote and in large numbers if they are given a candidate that appeals to them and Biden's "cool old grandpa" aesthetic of 10 years ago is long gone. I think like it or not, the new way forward is youth and the sooner the party realises that the better off they'll be going after old, establishment Republicans

That would give the DNC what it wanted four-five years ago and which they would rub into the RNC's face?
