US foreign policy don’t change between presidents this buildup has been going on for years.

Vietnam is like a lean and mean version of Chinas communist model, and they havnt tolerated being pushed around by any outside powers as the french and US found out. Sure china will be bullying them but i cant see them pandering anytime soon. Vietnam has a lot of multinationals manufacturing there as well so they are pretty well oised going forward.

I wonder how much leverage the current administration has over the implementation of the policy towards China, and how much this can be played by China over the coming months. And will the US go to war with China over losing some control in SE Asia? Maybe. It's the kind of thing that could bring the country to heel again. Jesus. Interesting times.

Reading that and other articles, it seems to be mostly out of towners mixed with a few locals. Looking at the videos too, some real nasty turds of people with a few n-word drops by one woman in particular.

Really don't like the 'counter-protesters, redneck towns and rural areas are all racist' narrative being pushed, but sadly these type of events draw out the reactionary nutjobs and political extremes. They often target rural towns because they can usually outnumber locals, but don’t have anywhere near the numbers for opposing larger city protests


There has been countless stories of assaults, coward punches and injuries involving Bongaloo's, counter-protesters, ANTIFA-affliated groups, BLM supporters and rioters. The whole thing is a cluster****.

but all movements have to start with ideology that’s where the art grad shines.


The sheer weight/volume/misinformation of that stuff is for obfuscation, for instance if talk about the US using Russian tactics and people automatically assume I’m saying Trump is a Putin puppet.. it’s crazy.

Black pride is an unfortunate but necessary thing.
