From the Coronoavirus thread but it really doesn't belong in there now:

In Summary:
The damages claim relate to proposals submitted in August 2012 and June 2013 for the long-stalled Balmoral South Iron Ore Project.
The August 2012 proposal was at first rejected and then later significantly conditioned by former premier Colin Barnett.
In relation to the first damages claim — which arises from Mr Barnett’s 2012 rejection of the proposal — Mr Palmer and the companies seek damages of $10.72 billion.
A further damages claim of $11.37 billion has been lodged for the loss associated with being unable to sell any project required under the State Agreement.
Another $37.1 million is being sought for the “wasted expenditure” they says was incurred, plus lost royalties totalling $326 million and interest from October 2012 valued at $5.21 billion.
The first damages claim totals $27.66 billion, while the level of the second claim — arising from Mr Barnett’s imposition in July 2014 of 46 conditions — has yet to be quantified by Mr Palmer, Mineralogy and International Minerals.

Last Night:
The WA Government’s emergency legislation to kill off Clive Palmer’s $30 billion damages claim has passed Parliament without amendment.
The Bill was driven straight to Government House to be given royal assent by WA Governor Kim Beazley so that it is law effective immediately in an effort to limit further legal action by Mr Palmer.
Amid the courtroom drama, the Bill designed to terminate the arbitration and Mr Palmer’s damages claim passed the Legislative Council without amendment at 10.30pm on Thursday after a 10-hour debate.

On the Legistation being brought in:
Speaking on Hit 92.9 radio this morning, Mr Palmer said he believed WA “could be” stepping stones away from having concentration camps.
“If you go back to Nazi Germany, their law was eroded over seven years,” Mr Palmer said.

Cue uproar from Jewish and RSL Communities

Honestly, if it was happening in another state:

But now, to rush through that legislation so quickly;

Aren't Palmers challenging constitutional?

If that's the case then whatever the W.A. parliament declares is potentially irrelevant.

I think that is where he is trying to challenge as it is a breach of his "Constitutional" rights, but its basically a shiite fight that pretty much started of being declined a mining project under Barnett

Can you show that would have happened tho?

I don't think the basis of the rejection of the claim was that he was a fat, stupid, corrupt banana bender.

Regardless....

The fat campaigner should be shot for treason. During the last federal election he stuck ads on YouTube claiming the Labour Party let the Chinese gov build an Air Force base in the NT or the Kimberly. Yet he wants to sell this project to the Chinese. So it's part owned by the Chinese gov? They could effectively build a functioning forward air base there as part of their infrastructure, call it essential for FIFO workers and how would you know?

Not only that the Chinese gov will be getting revenue directly from the digging up and destruction of our home. Wtf!! When did we become a Chinese vassal state? (Yeah I know, sometime in the late 90s.). Seriously, if I ran ASIO campaigners like him would be having heart attacks.

The only problem is asio exists for fat ****s like him, they certainly don’t serve the Australian people. They’ll be digging up dirt on the state premier.
Otherwise agreed.

Often in US tv and movies you see peeps drinking straight from Spirit alcohol bottles and getting wasted.

I can’t ever remember doing this in my life.

Is this a common thing or Hollywood?
Did you jump into a time machine and skip your teenage years?
