So you’ve claimed the kid is a right wing terrorist, deliberately armed to engage protestors, like Tarrant did in NZ, do you still hold those views?

He was full of that blue lives matter rah rah trump bullshit, had a gun fetish and got stuck in a situation he couldnt resolve. Now his life is over as are 2 people he killed.

Why would it be his job?

Why would you assume his claim was false?

For all I know he is a fruit loop, but it's your continual baseless shoehorning for political convenience that draws my attention.

Why would it be his job to travel to another state to protect someone else’s business?

Why wouldn't it?

He's made a claim, the onus is on you to disprove it beyond a reasonable doubt.

Were the owners of the property his relatives? Has he been employed? Did some political group get him there?

If he's an assasin then he's the dumbest one that ever lived going by that clip, and to draw on another caricature for the sake of balance an "Antifa" kick in the head/belt in the head with a bat, can kill you just as good as an AR 15. In fact, the AR15 is a military rifle that is made to wound, not necessarily kill.

Let's establish the how & why before imagining convenient conclusions.

So in criminal court you require motive.
do you think his motive was to go and kill a couple of protestors, in his mind looters?

or did he clearly state he was there protecting people and property.

so we’ve downgraded from murder to manslaughter.
Next part, he was openly carrying a weapon and was moving away from people attacking him. They’ll claim self defence against looters.
any decent lawyer in America will be able to pick a jury which will agree with the above.

As I said previous, I’m not arguing wrong or right here because no kid should have access to an AR-15.
but reality is he’ll walk and they’ll be riots again.

You’re campaigning for the libs. You quote news ltd, bolt, Latham, Trump. Rah rah greta.

You’ve realised that youre in intellectual lockstep with a bunch of shriekers you used to dismiss pretty easily. Im sure thats why you turn debates around to the mental health of those pointing out youre full of sh*t.

I used to see you as a free thinker. But social media has had a pretty massive impact on your world view.
Some people just like to hold contrarian opinions

KENOSHA, Wis. — Gov. Tony Evers said he’s confident that Kenosha will make it through the current civil unrest that has erupted in the wake of the police shooting of Jacob Blake, but political action is still needed.

Evers, Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes and Maj. Gen. Paul Knapp of the Wisconsin National Guard held a news conference Thursday afternoon at the Kenosha Emergency Operations Center to address the recent civil unrest.

“The previous protests across the state of Wisconsin are absolutely evidence that we’ve got 400 years of systemic racism in this country,” Evers said. “If we don’t do something about it, we’ll be repeating Kenosha in cities all across our country and our state.”

Tuesday night, 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse of Illinois allegedly shot three protesters, killing two of them. He was arrested Wednesday morning. Prosecutors charged him on Thursday with one count of first-degree intentional homicide; one count of first-degree reckless homicide; one count of attempted first-degree intentional homicide; two counts of first-degree reckless endangerment.

Barnes said the Tuesday night shooting was an example of how systemic racism plays out in real time.
“They talked about finding a knife inside of the car, not even on Jacob Blake’s person, but this guy is carrying around a long gun, kills somebody, and just walking freely was able to get back home to Illinois, then we’ve got a much bigger problem on our hands,” Barnes said.

There's also been reports that the cops gave this kid water before he went in to the crowd with his weapon. Video taken before the shooting shows police tossing bottled water from an armoured vehicle and thanking civilians armed with long guns walking the streets. One of them appears to be Rittenhouse.

As an aside, Jacob Blake is currently handcuffed to his hospital bed, despite being paralysed and missing most of his intestines.

Young blokes dont need to go syria to get radicalised any more.

Can someone explain why travelling across state lines is an issue with that kid that killed two people. Seen in mentioned numerous times like it's some big deal. Travelling from Victoria to NSW means nothing. Is it not the same in the US?

It’s vigilantism
Certainly seems that way, but I'm still not sure what that has to do with the state lines comments. I mean, if he did what was the equivalent of travelling from Geelong to Newcastle, then OK, might signal some sort of intent. If it was the equivalent of Wodonga to Albury, not so much.

Anyway, it's a minor thing and don't want to derail discussion on it. Not to worry.

There are legal issues I think. Will write about it in the morning here as it's pass midnight.

Its too early to say anything definite, but if you pick a random dude from Victoria who sets off for cronulla in late 2005 with murder tools in tow odds are high his intentions won't be peaceful

Is that the equivalent of what this kid did? (Travel like 6 hrs to get there)
