It's been easier to get finals tickets on Ticketmaster than getting the new Xbox and Playstation. Managed to get either of them yourself?

Surprised we don't have a VG thread here as a few of us frequent the VG board.
Nope. PS5’s sold out before I even knew they were available. Xbox sold out in 14 minutes.

1 vote for Bundy here. Grade 10, end of year party, 1 bottle....

3 hr bus ride for cricket the next day, 30 degrees, bus breakdown, only shade to lie under it

Dry retching for 36hrs, fine leg to fine leg. Old ladies from opposition canteen got me a bucket and icy cold flannels to get me through.

On SM-G965F using BigFooty.com mobile app
lol. Similar cricket incident that comes to mind.
Young lad out locally with some older colleagues. They were putting Bacardi shots in my pints. Ended disastrously.
Front up to cricket the next morning 45mins late on a mid-30 degree day feeling like dogs****.
Useless cricketer my entire life in general. Figured out how important moving your feet were when batting only a couple of months prior.
Batted like Buddha reborn. I was bulletproof. Pulled out every shot in the book that day.
Holed out on 94 at long on.
Had no idea what I was on. Retired after that season.
Up until that season my career average would have been less than 10.
Not sure what the lesson is in all of that.

this was almost certain to happen, it was completely wasteful to place all those temporary green cabinets full of batteries and circuitry all over the country when the tech to passively run comms to the household was well and truly mature, this coupled with the fact the real expense is getting the groundcrews and the earthmoving equipment out there in the first place, and its only sensible that whilst they are there they simply run a few more fibres.

Bradley Robert Edwards has been convicted of wilfully murdering Jane Rimmer and Ciara Glennon but has been found not guilty of the murder of Sarah Spiers – the first young woman he was accused of snatching off the streets of Claremont in the mid-1990s.

“(The similarities) do not allow for a conclusion to be reached beyond reasonable doubt that he person who killed Ms Rimmer and Ms Glennon must necessarily be the person who killed Ms Spiers,” he said.

“A possibility or even a probability in that regard is not enough to support a conclusion beyond reasonable doubt.”

Westpac has reached a deal with financial crime watchdog AUSTRAC to settle more than 23 million alleged breaches of anti-money laundering laws by paying a record $1.3 billion penalty.

And apparently it's not tax deductible 🤣

Well thank christ for that !

My sister was living in Claremont at the time of the murders.

She said there was a very strange vibe around at the time. Hyper vigilance and paranoia were order of the day.

It haunted the community for years... even when I started going out it was always in the back of our minds

The good thing was, it was the safest place for anyone for years due to increased vigilance

Devestating the near 400 whales all dead on Macquarie Harbour, West Coast Tas.

It's a very treacherous place as very small opening, but huge harbour with sand banks etc.

Well done for all those involved to help but really upsetting for me as an animal lover.

Seems pretty tame compared to us though...
A Year 12 student who admitted his involvement said some boys threw eggs at classroom windows during Tuesday’s late-night antics at Newman College in Churchlands, while others greased door knobs, glued tables and chairs together and moved wheelie bins to the oval.
