There are risks involved, but the current system is a disaster. Inheritance is fundamental to inequality
I don't understand how a family's wealth is unfair?

I'm a first generation Australian.
My parents and grandparents inherited sweet fu** all.

I find it peculiar, that what ever i have, doesn't end up going to my wife or children because of inequality?

The exponential increase in wealth acquired from death stacks the markets in favor of those who inherit it, and does not have a merit factor attached to it.

It's actually "anti-capitalist" as far as actual production is concerned.

Agree that people are lucky to have had wealth pass down in which they haven't contributed anything to obtain it.

But a fool and his money are soon parted. All going back into the economy, vehicles, alcohol, black market , holidays. ....

We need to determine what sort of wealth inheritance are we talking about that's the issue?

A 3 bedroom brick veneer house in Reservoir, with a couple hundred K in cash and stocks, divided by two siblings?

What do we do with inheritance?
Let the government take it and distribute it?

If we stopped the OS tax routs, held people in position of power accountable.
chopped contracts for the boys out.
There strangely is enough wealth in Australia to support to above programmes..

one of the best decisions .gov has made is trying to create a generation of engineers. If Australia were smart we’d head to an automated future..

Realistically how much Valium can we get away with putting in the water supply?

It's an intelligence scenario, and Australians are the elite big brother state of the planet.

Those in charge are never going to cede power.

The people will continue to be distracted with trivialities. Look no further than the political discussion around here. 90% of it is about bullshit.

Yeah not sure it was as simple as that, sure didn't assist. GM wanted us gone , we signed deals with places like Thailand that made it impossible to sell our vehicles there. While we took theirs by the thousands.

Anywho the woefully marketed Commodore has a real cult following in the US, I'm impressed by their knowledge of our vehicles. here's the lovely Sarah having a fine time of it.

Oh it hasn't done the value of my VL any harm us going out of business. But still tragic.

Agree it is this last decade more so then before.
Huge ideological distractions. Nothing really gets accomplished.

But I'm not sure what we are talking about here ?

The human beings drive for accomplishment and success with benefit of niceties in life, once all the basic needs are met through capitalism?
It is, if it's allowed to be.

Most of the combativeness in society is deliberately manufactured.

Yes I like their version of the " bill of rights"

I think Australia, compared to our European counterparts is way to over governed in respect to personal freedoms.

Step 1: Create a decent non combative society.
Man FFS , me and you don't get on and I'm ******* more than fine with that as know doubt you are. But really?? OM ******* God!! You are the most combative campaigner on here.

How can you not see that? And the amount of people that tongue your arse makes me sick. You abuse them, belittle them and then how they respond to you in a kind manner afterwards beggars believe.

Even you must see that.? ******* surely ???
