Obviously there's a massive dose of 'just desserts' at play in the Hunter Biden laptop story. When you spend as much time muddying the waters of media reporting as █████ does, you can hardly turn around and have a sook when a story that he wants promoted doesn't catch fire, or people's reflex reaction is to question the story's authenticity. It is becoming ever more difficult to discern truth from fact in the media and █████ has been hugely complicit in helping to foster that environment. The endless attacks on media, calling out legitimate fact as fabrication when it doesn't support his views or works to erode his tidal wave of hubris, the never-ending stream of lies and antagonism towards his opponents. The bizarre (and ultimately empty) rhetoric. The social media disinformation that he knows will make the rounds every time he tweets. This is a mire that he had a big hand in creating.
So yeah, even if it's true, at this point it appears people don't care too much about Hunter's laptop. Some people just aren't interested, some doubt the veracity of the story, for some it's too late in the day to care either way, and as LtK has pointed out, for some people it doesn't rate because it pales into insignificance when measured against █████'s litany of corruption.
And it's mostly because this is basically a single issue election - oust █████. (With a side order of hot topic Covid.) This is not █████ v Biden. This is █████ v Not █████. And on that subject, I would assume that the vast majority of people have already made up their minds. That's why the laptop story isn't registering a blip on the collective radar. And that's why people like me are chuckling and scratching our heads wondering why the GOP ever thought it would.

Just finishing a thought that follows on from the above....I'd suggest those who don't pray at the altar of Cheeto Jesus are well and truly done with all the hysterics. I'm not usually much of a fan of Jonathan Pie's shtick, but in a recent clip of his he was spot on when he said "Joe Biden may just be the double-dose of Valium that the US needs right now".
That's why you have such significant early numbers of votes being cast (votes received in Texas ahead of Election Day have already exceeded the total number of votes cast in Texas in the 2016 election!), that's why you see Obama out on the campaign trail for Biden and no ex-Republican leaders out banging the drum for █████, that's why you see the GOP-faithful over at the Lincoln Project working overtime to make sure █████ doesn't get re-elected, and that's why all the credible polls have Biden well ahead.
Even with the leg-up he'll get from the Electoral College, the writing is on the wall.....

a quick run down on Media Matters, it’s a David Brock company, if you’re unaware who he is, hes a PR guru or propaganda artist.
One of his companies is called Share Blue. Is actually half the problem in the US, theyre trying to be the only source of information. They’ve been caught out lying on numerous occasions, and were pushing the Putin puppet narrative hard.
