I wonder if Joyce’s would ever use his position to publicly attack the pope like he did Israel.Don't do it dude, don't get actively dumber.
Fwiw the left have been the biggest opponents of Islam there are.
Who was it that volunteered to fight with the Kurds against Daesh?
Not fat Craig Kelly wannabe dipshits in Australia, it was ultra "woke" lefties from Europe and the US.
Show me someone from the woke critical of Islam
For example?

Is woke the new "pc gone mad"?
It's been flanderized like nothing I've seen
Feel free to wake me up when this woke discussion has subsided. Is woke the new "pc gone mad"?

From the urban dictionary
woke
The act of being very pretentious about how much you care about a social issue
Yeah most people don't care about parking spaces for families with disabled pets. I wish they were woke like me.
I’d say there’s quite a few African Americans out there who’d like to put their foot through the skull of the white boy that came up with that particular definition...

Isn’t that the fault of Catholics?
The right will boycott a football game because of a guy kneeling but will continue to support churches that have covered up child abuse?

There was and remains an interesting discussion around feminism (who I'm sure is counted in the wokism spectrum) and Islam too. Might be wrong here, but I seem to remember that Western feminists actually got criticised by some Muslim women for imposing Western feminism standards on women in Muslim countries, who argued that what they in fact needed was allies and change needed to come from within. I think this was like mid-2000s when the anti-Muslim rhetoric was at its peak.Brace Belden a good example.
But the entire Syrian Kurdish armed movement - YPG/J that fought them from Kobane all the way to Raqqa, they are literally the "wokest" people on Earth.
Unless you've just decided to use "woke" as a description for people and stuff you don't like.

Bit more nuanced than that I think and I want to make clear that I'm no expert and I might be remembering incorrectly. But the clothing thing is a good example. I seem to remember some Muslim women pushing back on that because dress is or can be a form of religious observance, which wasn't recognised by Western feminists. That can lead into a huge discussion about cultural relativism too, which I am not qualified to contribute to in any meaningful way.Wasn’t the point that they believed women should have the right of choice on what they wear, or if they can drive, or go to school or walk the streets without a chaperone?
True to a point. But if they stopped acting like medieval fundamentalist loonies, people wouldn’t attack them.Christianity and Islam get slammed all the ****ing time dude. There are some people who will defend some abhorrent stuff done by institutions of those faiths, but both Islam and Christianity in general are subject to a lot of hate by the general public and media personalities. They're kind of the 'acceptable' religions that people feel free to attack.

Attacking the Catholic Church for its abhorrent contemporary behaviour is not attacking Christianity, it is attacking a group of people that have acted, and continue to believe they are above the law.
‘Same goes for people attacking sects of Islam that perpetuate human rights abuses under the guise of religion.
At some point these orga have to be held to account for their behaviour, which is hard, because you are accused of attacking <insert religion> by followers of said religion.
All those religions should be burned to the ground.
That's meaningless though.
I could go to the urban dictionary too and write some crap.
