1. Read both sides. He said he wants an action plan and doesn't want to just fork over 500k without knowing what is happening to it. Which is more than fair because Dustin is new to this sort of stuff. Previously Dustin's just been a volunteer soup kitchen type. It's a big level up. Conor donated over 3 million during covid and has donated millions to first responders.![]()
Conor McGregor lashes out at Dustin Poirier 'smearing my name,' threatens to cancel trilogy
Conor McGregor has threatened to cancel his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 after his rival called him out on not following through with a promised charitable donation. On Sunday, Poirier (27-6 MMA, 19-5 UFC) went public with the information that McGremmajunkie.usatoday.com
He won’t cancel. If Dustin didn’t want to fight him Conors career would be over. Probably have to fight YouTubers for attention
2. It's probably just wolf tickets to sell the fight. Conor got in his head in the first fight. He may be trying to do it this time to put Dustin off. I doubt he could get under his skin given dustin is a lot more mature than the first fight and he has the confidence knowing he finished him in #2.
3. Career over lol. He has diaz 3 that can happen. Gaethje and Conor have history. RDA - he could fight him given it didn'teventuate last time. Rematch with Holloway has been bubbling and could happen at 155. If his next fight is a win he'll prob gone done the manny route again for the big pay day. Conor may have been finished but he's still the biggest draw in MMA...hands down.
4. The biggest loser in this is Dustin. He turned down a title fight to get this trilogy going. If it doesn't happen he missed that and a lot of money.
