Both those are religous based traditions.
I think a vast majority of atheists celebrate both of those holidays.
Which doesnt make sense off course.
Picking apart aspects of those traditions, and determining them as being irrelivent doesnt make much sense.
Its the children that will miss out, as adults decide whats relevent and whats not.
They’re actually pagan rituals if you really care to look into it.
