My ex had one of them in the bottom of her undies drawer; I always wondered what it was. Of course, it's a hammer. Thanks for clearing that up[emoji106]

No worries! People get them mixed up all the time, thought I should share this valuable piece of information.

When all you've got are nails, everything looks like a hammer.

I’ve been in more fights then I can remember. I was an idiot from about 14 to 25ish. Nothing good comes from fighting, especially in pubs. I grew up listening to stories of fighting, it was glorified tbh. I teach my kids different and that’s all I can do. They do BJJ 6 hours a week but purely for self defence.
times change and people grow up, ( well most do) these days i would prefer to go to a beer garden during the day or a brewery and occasionally a pub early in the evening, must say ythough a couple of the blues were pretty funny looking back on them, went to a bands event over in foster/south gippsland and the mother of all brawls erupted there during one of the bands, next thing you know hall lights were on, one of the band members lept off the stage and virtually everyone was into it, women crying blokes using eskies as weapons. the security all piled into a van and hightailed out, took the police from toora about 40 minutes to arrive by that time it was pretty much all over. the bloke who organised the gig got a pretty solid bake from the cops.

There is something standing in the way of a fully fledged surveillance state... Our internet is shit.
Statute law rules mate, and government will just wallpaper over any libertarian cracks that judges create in the fabric.

Constitutionally, Australia lives in dangerous times. There's literally NOTHING standing in the way of a fully fledged surveillance state, and there's a growing number of lemmings who would actually support this monstrosity.

Yeah, I get that. Like impressionable kids who think they get clout from mates or whoever for who they can kick the sh*t out of kind of thing?

It’s more about sticking up for yourself if someone threatened you or spoke badly of your friends or family. If someone did that and you dobbed on them it puts you in the lowest category, even your friends would disown you. Alternatively if you confront them, fight them, even if you lose you can be respected.

BUT, if you were the person causing trouble, bagging people etc like a bully and got smacked around by the person you were picking on you’re now the target.

You can be beaten, but you can't ever buckle.

Taking a beating is one of the toughest things a person can do

Tough is what you do when you can't win.

99.99% of people buckle.

Some of the best fist fighters I have known have turned to shit when they were up against the wall.

Can relate to this. Honestly though, learning the value or forgiveness and turning the other cheek, and encouraging others to do the same, has absolutely transformed my life.

It's the standard catchphrase of toxic feminists and their beta male collaborators.

It doesn’t even make sense. Can’t they just be arseholes? It’s like they’re trying to make masculinity a bad thing. Don’t get the need to tie the two together? Is toxic feminism a thing? I bet it is and that too is stupid.

Me forgetting everything I say[emoji31]

I literally can’t even remember when I text my parents, I’ll see a text I sent to them 2 minutes ago and wonder when I wrote that.

Adhd things🤪🤪

Academic postmodernist horse shit needs to masturbate with language in order to convey an air of intellectual credence to the sub 80 I.Q. morons that lap it up. It's all baseless word salad.

Don't believe me? Just ask Chad to regale you with some "political science".

The word "beef" would suggest that a competition was possible. It isn't.

**** all that. I’m actually curious about where ‘toxic masculinity’ came from. There’s nothing toxic about being masculine imo. If anything it can be used by dickheads to justify their behaviour, “not my fault, too much testosterone”

Of course not. It's moronic. The same traits that give rise to the worst aspects of males, also give rise to the thing all around us called "civilisation".

If anything it can be used by dickheads to justify their behaviour, “not my fault, too much testosterone”

Nah, it's predomiately utilised by low status women & men who project their own shortcomings externally. It's core motivation is envy.
