I suspect that the outrage against these blokes being pardoned might end up causing them to be a little nervous when they go down to the supermarket, start their cars or tuck themselves into their beds at night.

I know that there is no way I'd ever get into one of their cars for the go to work ride share.

I'll leave it for another day to relate my story about having to rub one out into a jar (with a ridiculously narrow opening) and then having to drive over 40 minutes to f***ing Frankston Hospital during the middle of a pandemic in order to get the "all clear".

I was filled with confidence when my own doctor said the same to me some time ago. The last place you want to be with a serious illness is in hospital.

We have some of the worlds best here, believe me.
Not wanting to knock " private " hospitals too much but they fill a need. Simple, straightforward care. But you would not want to be seriously ill there.
Places like the R.C H. R.M.H. Alfred. are world leading in a multitude of area's. People come from around the globe to learn and work there and then take that experience home. Like any, shall we say " industries ", people are dedicated and striving to achieve the best possible outcomes. That isn't always 100%, but dealing with people who are sick not an easy game to play. Know plenty of people who have dedicated their whole lives to it without huge salaries and gold medals and then retire with their own satisfaction and peer praise and acknowledgement.

I get that. If you're gonna be sick, Australia is probably the best place in the world for it.

I didn't know it at the time but the doctor himself was close to dying and I think he really meant that if I was well enough to be treated outside of a hospital it would be a good thing.

Took a while to find another good doc after that. Turned out that by sheer coincidence, the one I found was the bloke who delivered my wifewhen she was born. He was pretty old and my after surgery check up was his very final consultation before he retired.

Righto guys and girls.

I bought this quality slate Snooker table off my Parent's as they don't use it.

Needs 4 people to carry as ridiculously heavy.......and it's only 3 quarter size.

It is faded on trim and it's 1K to fix (I know a lot but it's worth it)

What colour should I get? Stay with Green, go with Blue or Red?

My late Grandfather gave me his cue in Will.

It's very special to me as when younger I loved snooker (not the other pool stuff).

It's quality, but I don't care on worth as I'd never sell it.
