Oh yeh, what a train wreck since. Hirsch got too smart for his own good and sent the storyline’s all over the shop. The last episode before these final 10 was a farcewife watched til Ragnor died, then said it wasnt as good.
No they scrape the BBQ left overs off the drip tray don’t they?
No they're made from the ‘Parsnips nose’I thought that was where we get BBQ nuggets from?

The History Channel, use to be great when it was just History (like when TLC was The Learning Channel and Discover Channel too was about learning too).

Are Anatolian shepherds common in Australia Choppy? They're super rare here. I've only ever met one, and he was a bit tricky, but then I suspect he wasn't having the greatest time trying to cope with living in a city. We've got a fair few Maremmas used for livestock here too. You see the odd one in the city, but again, I think their temperaments are more suited to being out working the farms. I think dogs like them suffer in the city, living boring cramped lives where their self-determination is not allowed to exist in the way it needs to be. There's so many silly human rules for dogs in the city. Walk in a straight line next to the human with your head up. Sit when they tell you to, even if it's a trillion times a day and there is no discernable reason for it. Jeez they put up with a lot from us.
By the way, your greyhounds are beautiful. They look bigger and have thicker coats than ours up here, which is odd, as we're the cold country! Haha. But then most of the greyhounds here are rescues from the US racing industry.
Anyways, good luck in your quest. Be nice if you could find a rescue Anatolian to fit into the existing pack.![]()
The town is down that way somewhere.ahh, iam thinking of the place down near the otways, definitely not near tulla.
Thanks for the post Sopwiths North.
Yep Anatolian Shepherds (some call them Kangals) are super rare also - i'va actually never seen one outside watching videos on YouTube as they're a pretty amazing livestock protector- their history is pretty fascinating if you ever have chance to look into it.
Yep like Maremmas I've read don't do well in city at all as they simply aren't bred for it!
I'm looking to buy a rural block and maybe a tiny farm so I'll need a dog to do the house duties when I'm at work and I like the look of them!
Thanks so much on my Greyhounds. I'll definitely keep rescuing but they are literally the worst guard dogs ever - they would happily strip my joint and carry my belongings to help burglars............haha.
Mine are big but I reckon yours in Canada probably aren't much different - it's hard on pics.
That's crazy about all your city rules you have, never heard of it before! The dogs would get sick and tired of it as would the owners.............
Anyway thanks again so much and it's a medium term plan not short term so there is no hurry (I probably wouldn't get a rescue Anatolian - they are so big I'd probably want to start from scratch to ensure the safety of my rescues)
Ps; your animals?
Chop
Yep. There are rules about all that.Where does a caged Chook use its muscles? To stand?
He also used to get the comedians on at the time. Rodney Rude would come on and clean up his act so that it was mildly offensive; Austentayshus who was an arrogant loud mouth and Vince Sorrenti
Yep. There are rules about all that.
Australian caged chooks aren't alot worse off than people in housing commission flats. Housing commission flats in lockdown are probably very similar. They fight, belt each other with their wings trying to access their 3 or four inches of space on the feedline. And stand. They have to be able to stand up and move their wings a bit. Its the rules. Surely that's everything a chook needs? Right?
Meat chooks live in huge sheds usually, sometimes with yards, so they can move about fairly freely. They aren't caged like battery hens. So they develop muscle structure and strength, even in the few short weeks they are alive.
