I’m sure if Julian Knight carried out the Hoddle st massacre today he’d claim some bullshit political reason.

It's important to not confuse specifically targeted attacks (Christchurch, Breivik, Charleston, El Paso, etc) with dispassionate mass-shootings (Port Arthur, Hoddle St, etc).

They are two very, very different things.

What difference does that make?

But no, in his manifesto he specifically name drops far-right media people as being inspirations, many of whom still to this day feature frequently on Sky News Australia.

The difference is that these right wing neo nazi groups are toothless tigers. Just a bunch of annoying racists. Australia has always had them. I don’t like them either. I think they’re just a pack of attention seeking, low knowledge w***ers. They’re dangerous, but I don’t see them forming some sort of domestic terrorist threat. I don’t think we’ll be seeing them blowing up buildings. Most of them will probably just fade into obscurity and become unemployable and leach of our taxes.

On this, what ever happened to the Vegas shooter?
did they ever find motive.

Well one of them was jailed for plotting an attack on the anarchist club.. I reckon it's a bit "there's nothing to fear, until it's happened".. which I'm not sold on. These dudes need to be kept under very close observation as they are dangerous and although they may not seem threatening to you, the videos of them busting into church gatherings or unis with non western toilets and hassling peeps demonstrate that they are actively making other people's lives less comfortable.

So this is a complex issue, so understand what I'm about to say is largely condensed and simplified;

No, the Christchurch shooter was not a 'lone-wolf'. And the concept of a lone-wolf is often used incorrectly to dismiss the broader issues of radicalisation.

The Christchurch shooter was radicalised by far-right white supremacy, and acted upon it.

He was radicalised, he just operated alone. He chose NZ because it was too hard to get guns in Australia and even criminals are picky who they sell illegal arms to because they know a nutjob shooter is just going to bring all forms of law enforcement on their arse.

I was going to post earlier that it reminds me of when the media were trying to scare everyone about African gangs...absolutely hilarious that they interviewed those 2 about their concerns. What a ******* time to be alive
What's the bet half of those African gang bangers grew up as opposed to these blokes?

Either that or they just disappeared. The media can really control a narrative hey? Have you noticed that every time the covid vaccine is mentioned on the news they’re always negative leaning?

Cancel culture is on its last legs. It’s going too far.

Literally no one has actually been 'cancelled' who didn't 10000% deserve it.
