"specialists in the field"
What field of "expertise" is that exactly?

Critical theory.

The layperson needs to understand that society is being overtly influenced by a small & select group, originating out of academia, that have seized positions of power...............because their entire worldview is based upon controlling the narrative via positions of power.

Democracy & science are irrelevant, and individual rights are selective & flexible.

The position of the libertarian is that all people must have equal rights in order for human rights to be a viable concept, and that's just 100% fact.

Once self interested gangs get involved the entire concept dissolves.

in 2002 (during the summer season at the rink i played at), my team (different one i played on before i founded the Kangaroos) made the finals (best of 3). during the 3rd game, we were losing (ended up losing), but during the 3rd period, the scorekeeper (who also happen to have his girlfriend on our team) got into an argument with someone in the stand (fan for the other team, which happen to be called the Chiefs), he almost went into the stands to fight the person (and we would have followed him). would have been like this:

Loved the pistols, they’re cultural icons, but i might’ve missed the smiley face but I was being facetious, the songs called ‘anarchy in the uk’ :p

The Pistols were basically about the high-jacking of rock n roll by the music industry.

Oh...........and making money.

Comparing modern edgy comedians who’s job it is to push the boundaries to historical books written around the turn of the last century.. contextually they are nothing alike.

it’s like pointing at ‘meet the feebles’ and saying Mickey Mouse should be banned..
True. I was simply demonstrating that regardless of the efforts of grass roots or corporates pushing that something should be sensored for whatever reason they will inevitably still be available. I don't think any of that kind of stuff should be banned. Materials abusing children etc for example are a whole different matter and is where efforts should be concentrated.

It is true for some industries, but if entire industries or market monopoles go down that route, then it is hard to find alternative sources.

Also, most people aren’t involved in this culture war crap, so they aren’t going to switch products that they have always used. I.e. Coke.

Great summation.
Can't help by being generic in stating that the arts faculty is trying to create a useful industry for their scholars to move into.

A space , about nothing really and turning it into an industry and commercializing their "skills "

Critical theory professional consultants, advising business/ government departments on culture and brand .

I don't believe it will.
It goes against good business culture.

Far to many people have learnt how to manipulate the world, without the understanding of the world we live in, or the consequences of their actions..
