The difference between the intelligent & the brainwashed, is that the intelligent can identify that examples of contrary evidence are just that, and nothing more.

The brainwashed need to apply bias in order to appease their own cognitive biases.

The fact that someone would make multiple contrary claims that a giraffe is taller than an elephant, does not automatically make that claimant a giraffe, yet when it comes to politics this is automatic behaviour for some. We're dealing with some very poor intellects around here.
