Many people do, it's pretty popular. But I understand I Sach experience - I'm a Little Creatures Pale fan myself
If you like little cratures you should enjoy thunder road pacific breeze, 4 pines pacific and stone and wood pacific. All lovely late hopped examples of a modern new world ale.

All locally owned as well rather than owned by japanese multinationals.

haaaaa

There was a beer in the 90’s much worse called Fosters Special bitter which not only tasted bad but in some blokes caused the trots, me included

Today Great Northern would be an easy tasting beer to start on but it has to be icy
Great northern is actually more closely resembles moonshine such is the corn percentage. Beers are traditionally barley based although the german purity act was anended in the 18th century to allow wheat). japenese styles such as asahi, kerin and sapporo get the same dryness as corn based (corona, great northern, outback jsck ) drinks using rice hulls.

Forsters special bitter was an interesting cat as it bore no real resemblence to the pils inspired lager which is fosters.

Sachx is only a young bloke, has the rest of his life to learn the intricacies of a good beer.

Absolutely, took me years.

My young bloke is 17 and going through the same thing. So, far I've succeeded in steering him away from the alcopops but him being alergic to wheat makes it a bit harder.

Yes, I love a Little Creatures Pale Ale. Got a cricket bus trip tomorrow to Geelong for an afternoon at Little Creatures. I've been to the Freo one years ago but haven't been to Geelong yet. Looking forward to it.

Sounds brilliant. Let me/us know how it goes!

should be plenty of beers without wheat, alcopops, the fuel of the bogan.

We've just been going with Gluten free beers. Hahn Ultra Crisp, tastes like cat piss and O'briens. They do a Pale Ale and Lager which are pretty good but not good for a young blokes budget.

I haven't had the Thunder Road but 4 Pines and Stone&Wood are 👍 Just got a box of Cricketers Arm pale. Not bad

Cricketers arms is good. Shame they sold out to the big 2.

Gluten free is more difficult to wheat intolerance as it discounts badly sadly.

On the subject of beers looking to head down the local bandalier brewery later on this arvo for a sampling session.

Not sure where to put this, but what value would a 1975 signed premiership football be worth?
Every player and the coach has signed.

A grand?

I've got no idea, i've never seen one before. I'd say it's pretty rare.

It depends on what condition it's in, and if it can be verified.

I have some old signed footy's and you can barely make out some of the sigs now.

Personally i like the late hopped styles or darks the best all tbough a lovely Czech pilsen such as staraprama, gambrinus or budvar are hard to go past on a hot afternoon
No love for Pilsner Urquell or Weihenstephaner? Budvar gives me a headache.

When I was living in central Europe back in the late 90s, I used to go to Prague quite a bit for work. One of my favourite things about the place was the vending machines full of ice cold beers that they had in the airport. I'd always grab myself one after going through security and down it on the way to the gate lounge. It would be one of the very few airports in the world where no-one would give you a second look for walking around with an open beer in hand. The other being Munich, which has it's own on-site brewery. F*** I love Germany.

I am so sick and tired of seeing the rise of hate crimes committed against Asians. Ugh
