Personally i think after gangsta America lost its way a bit. There’s a lot of crossover mc’s like the streets, foreign beggars, sbtrkt and rudimental.
Danny Brown and ASAP crew came out and said they were basically influenced by it.
Certainly resonates with Melbourne folk more, as they’re talking about partying and getting loose, rather then being rich and shooting up their local shopping mall.
