I know you're the big hip-hop guy here, VK, so what do you think about the UK stuff? With the exception of Kendrick, I rarely listen to hip-hop/rap outside of the very odd song that will capture my attention briefly, but lately I've been quite taken with a number of artists of the UK grime/garage (I think that's what it's called) style. Something about the combination of the Afro-Caribbean influenced Cockney accent and the flow is really satisfying. Example A is this track which I had on repeat for weeks. As I said, the combo of accent and flow just works so much for me in this. I don't consume that much US hip hop content, but from the little I have seen, it seems the UK scene is actually starting to make some noise in the States in the last couple of years too.

Basing credibility on number of Twitter followers is far more from accurate. How many do the kardashians have? To me huge numbers of Twitter followers "influencers" have usually just reinforces how many stupid people there are in the world.
