I actually agree with this.

Funnily enough there were Biden supporters who put me on ignore during the period of the changeover cos they didn't like the incoinvenient facts about Biden that I'd post. One even accused me of being "a Snake_Baker sock puppet."

Hahahaha.

We discussed Trump a lot and one thing I always said was that so much of his support, especially initially, came from his anti-war stance.

That Matt Taibbi yarn in Rolling Stone in 2015 that first opened my eyes to the idea he could well win made this hugely clear, the anti war stuff was his biggest applause line.

That the people who were going to his rallies were the people who had actually fought the Iraq/Afghan Wars, who had all lost a relative or friend, who all had people they knew and loved come home wounded, often terribly.

About what?

Don't bring up the fires again, everything you said about them was flat out wrong.

I don't expect much from the leader of the US, even Obama was a joke imo but at least he'd be competent enough to manage an emergency response properly. I get this is stuff you have literally no idea about tho so I don't expect much in the way of meaningful contributions from you.

On a related but OT note, have you started to work on dealing with your overwhelming transference issues yet?

We're gonna chip in and buy you one of these:

I reckon you're secretly in love with me.

By and large I reckon Trump's foreign policy was better than the standard Democrat/GOP consensus imperialist line.

But he stuffed up by allowing his personal animus to Obama to drive him to rip up the Iran deal.

I'm glad Biden seems to be slowly moving towards rejuvenating that - it is the key piece of the puzzle in the ME.

Overall Trump's foreign policy was reasonably good imo.
I’m glad we’ve got to a point where we can rational discuss policy without being called a rwnj..

Amazing isn’t it, that anti war crowd who supported trump are now anti China because they think they stole the election.

Oh oh, the pile on begins and the alts have come out.

We've always been able to do that re foreign affairs, you just turn into a RWNJ when you start going down GG style rabbit holes on shit like "AOC made up being scared during the Jan 6 insurrection".

Winky smiley face thing.

Might be better if we just chip in and buy him a membership. It seems the poor fellow can't afford one.

No, no, LTK!

He's taking a righteous stand against... uh... the TYRANNY! of... uh... the current administration? Or something about Majak Daw and tokenism? I think maybe Laura Kane is to blame? Or maybe it was Sonja? Or Archer? But rest assured his commitment is STEADFAST! And well-reasoned!

You missed the Bloods takeover by stealth and the woke Huddleists and WAFL team taking funds away from the REAL North Melbourne.

We could do a Tef word bingo game where you take a shot every time he types a particular word. Although we'd all be trollied before midday.

I reckon that zombie canola has got to you ferbs.

I recommend a lavender & wattle seed enema to remove those toxins,

Worked for you did it?

Your lavender and wattle seed waffle is pretty good too. Needlebush wattle? Would have been a trip.

I'm surprised that someone who thinks science is golden would be so supporting of corporate patents given the effect they have on the free flow of information (a key element of open scientific inquiry,) and the way they take control of an individulas work and collectivise its ownership to bunch of anonymous shareholders.

Yep, well reasoned and a genius. His pathetic neediness ensures we are reminded of his genius on a regular basis.

Trump is a fu**in idiot who has pending sexual assault cases, went bankrupt a bunch of times and where are those tax returns? He rorted his constituents, he lies in his sleep. He’s a fat dog!
I think he's probably a sad old man right now, and this thread has given more attention in the last few pages than the rest of the world has in the last few months.

I knew of a palestinian activist who claimed voting for Trump was a better option than Clinton and put forward a good argument based on their campaign policies and records.

Obviously Trump betrayed all that pretty quickly, which is why the Israeli's are picking a fight at the steps of the Al-Aqsa mosque.

Great name too. That place is the source of half the worlds problems.

As it appears that Huddle memberships are sadly a thing of the past, I assume you mean one of these?

No, the really tough guys are the ones lacking impulse control who get all salty when they're called out for not being a member and PM threats to other posters in the middle of the night.

If you're going to threaten other posters, at least have the balls to do it in an open forum.

PS - Buy a membership.

Snake's just angling for a blue, which is all fine and good because let's be honest, that's what this whole site and this thread especially is all about.
Those are fighting words SLF...
