Probably just me, but I am not sure why we have to be pro in favour of one side or the other. You can highlight the legitimate grievances of one side and empathise with the other. Nothing with the Arab-Israeli conflict, and its history, is black and white. All the historical nuance has seeped out of all the discussions.

Mate it’s sooo good. Think of Cooper as the kinds of opposite of Greenwald. Glen is a lefty who doesn’t let that interfere with his reporting, Cooper is a right winger but his politics don’t enter it at all. It starts off with him holding back tears reading from the diary of a Jewish woman. He’s very much like Calrlin, in that in order for him to tell a historical story he’ll often start wayyyy back so people understand the context. In this case he starts with the pogroms but also goes right back to the beginning with the tribes of the area that we now know as Palestine. If Dan Carlin is the GOAT of historical podcasts (apologies Mike Duncan &patrick Whyman) then Cooper is LeBron
