Been really working on my running in preparation for a return to footy next season. I've only played about 5 games in the past 10 or so years. Played at a high-ish level before that. For our friends here who still play, what kind of fitness would you need to play local ressies these days? I've never been a gifted aerobic athlete so have had to work pretty hard to get my 5km under 25 mins.

Depending on the standard of speed in ressies, probably not the most crucial aspect. If your a good player you'll will over compensate by reading the play and being in the right spots
No amount of training can prepare you for the rigours of match fitness.

Just take easy steps , prevent injury.

It'll fall in place after a couple of seasons.

Main thing is be as ready as you can and enjoy getting your hands on the pill .

Footy next season? Get down to training this season and the repeat efforts in the drills will improve your aerobic capacity quickly enough. When it gets a bit easier for you, push through the drills faster. Won't be too long before you're fleet of foot and up and down the wing like Bruce Abernethy :-) Chasing a ball is more fun than just running anyway, ask any dog 🙃

Modi supporting Indians and Hindu nationalists who hate Muslims and know Modi had mimicked Israel in his occupation of Kashmir.

Israeli society is deeply racist, especially among the right wing types the Indians are trying to suck up to.

See also Pakistani/Bangaldeshi and Uighurs joining ISIS and being to clean toilets and the like by the Saudi/Gulf types.

It was a roast and the crowd loved it. I didn’t find it funny, but that’s his style, people pay him to roast them.

Is like how the IDF admitted posting bulldust and briefing journos about an imminent ground attack a few days ago, to try and trick Hamas into battle stations which were then bombed but then we're meant to just accept all their info as gospel lol.
 
The bombs the IOF are using to destroy buildings. These bombs are mainly used to penetrate heavily fortified military sites.
