I suppose its nice that old dudes who spend way too much time falling/running down rabbit holes on facey, youtube and twitter have a virtual space to interact with people from various walks of life.

Something tells me they'd be better off heading out to their nearest Mens Shed to talk to actual humans though.

Getting back to this, does anyone remember a time when the younguns were accusing their elders of being the pussies, and not the other way around?

When did puritanical conservatism become popular with youth culture?

Henry Rollins does a great sketch on this, I'll see if I can find it.

Yes, and which GP is actually providing these referrals?
Your own.
Just tell him you want a referal to.....which ever MC company you decide on going to.
Reasons; Pain, Stress, anxiety, insomnia, or any other.
If he says hes not sure about it, slap him in the back of the head (nicely) and get him to become up to date with his medical knowledge.

I don't think they are that free & easy with this mate.

Personally, I have no interest in this for myself, but a friend who died of cancer wanted me to see if I could source something like this. His doctor wouldn't prescribe it.

It depends when he tried.
Its been openly available for around 12 months.
It really isnt a difficult process.

Consult your usual Doctor
Patients considering medicinal cannabis treatment should first discuss this option with their treating GP or specialist medical practitioner. Read Talking to your doctor for more information.

Patients should be aware that currently:

this treatment option is generally considered where other medications have proven ineffective or poorly tolerated by the patient, or where the patient is in palliative or end-of-life care.
TGA applications (excluding those for SAS A – palliative care) need to state if the medical practitioner making the application is the patient’s ‘usual’ doctor.
Your current treating medical practitioner should have a good understanding of your medical conditions AND access to your medical records. Information regarding your medical records may need to be submitted if an application is made to the TGA.

As medical cannabis is a relatively new healthcare treatment option for Australian doctors, some practitioners may lack experience or not be comfortable prescribing medicinal cannabis. As most medicinal cannabis products are currently not TGA-approved, the regulatory framework also imposes different and generally more challenges and time-consuming requirements than those applicable to TGA-approved and established products.

If you are visiting a new doctor, you will need to discuss with them the following information so they can consider your suitability for medical cannabis as a treatment option:

Previous medical history (around the condition you would like to discuss medical cannabis as a treatment)
Previous medications taken (for this same condition)
List of your current medications
Summary of prior medical history and diagnosis (eg high blood pressure, asthma etc)
It is recommended to bring this information to your consultation and you can request this from your current practice or medical centre.

You can buy a beer from a vending machine on a train platform in Belgium.

You just need to put your ID card in first lol.

They had beers in a vending machine at the beach in Italy as well.

They have cops at the train stations with machine guns in a lot of countries in Europe. Got a bit of a surprise when they come up to me when I took a photo of my wife at a station in Lyon.

Right now I'm also trying my hand at bee keeping.

My old man is in to that, I don't really have room to have bees at my place but it is something id like to do later on

No, Its perfectly legal.
They are australian doctors and pharmacies.
Go to your GP and get a referal, there are tons of reasons.
Book an online or in person appointment, with listed medical Cannabis practioner.
They will ask you 20 questions.
Submit your application to the TGA.
If you are already on a special TGA approval for methadone or Pain killers, you maybe refused.
Then Pick up from Specialist pharmacy, (not sure in Victoria?) But you can have it posted out.

You may want to shop around first when inquring on price, they vary. $200 should get you a vial of CanniMed by Aurora (ASX listed MC) which has equal THC and CBD.
If you dont like the "stoned feeling" just get CBD with 1% THC

Not sure about that. I thought it was legal here too, but I told a mate who’s mum has arthritis and nothing really worked to go to the doctor and give it a go, they told her they could not prescribe it to her. He reached out to an other mate in Queensland that had access to it and got it off him. Didn’t help her apparently but worth a try.

It depends on when you tried.

Yeah France has been heavily militarised for a while.

I watched a regular army unit doing a full combat patrol down a street in the Marais in 2016, like they were in Belfast in 1972.

Given the number of Daesh attacks, makes sense.

Well, you can walk into a movie theater in Amsterdam and buy a beer. And I don't mean just like in no paper cup, I'm talking about a glass of beer.
