It sure is. Went for lunch at Cicciolina followed by a couple of drinks at the Espy on Saturday and it was very enjoyable. What wasn't so great was the Uber surge pricing - it cost $51 to get there and then the usual $19 to get back home.

I always liked the shabbiness of the Espy. I'd drink in the public bar downstairs as well tho. Its probably not even there any more. I used to know my way around that pub pretty well. It was a like a rabbit warren out the back. We'd sit on the top of the stairs rolling scoobs for hours while junkies and old weirdos who lived in the pub stumbled back and forth and those massive maori bouncers would come up for a quick toke every now and then. That was a long time ago. Before they really renovated anything.

Its been over a decade since I've been there.

In the last three years we have reached a point with China in that they have done everything they can to damage our economy, all the while the government has gone out of its way to antagonise them with bullhorn pronouncements.

The French, perhaps the 2nd most powerful EU country have wiped us completely over the submarine fiasco, much less the leaking of private text messages from Macron.

The entire Pacific Island nations over our total disregard for their fears over rising sea levels and climate change in general.

His standing up in front of the entire world and giving them the finger over climate change.

I can not recall a point in the last 50 years where our stocks on the international stage have been so low.
