This morning's crap surf was seriously ameliorated by the stunning golden sunlight bouncing off the escarpment, and the silence only punctuated by the softest sea breeze and the sea's own weird rhythm.
Funnily enough, I was going for my morning run yesterday and I said to my companions, "It's a real rosy-fingered dawn today" and one asked "What does that mean?". I said, "Oh, I think it comes from a poem, just a way of describing the dawn."Take it to the poetry and life observations sub-forum thanks champ.
Turns out it's actually from Homer.
Anyway, I'm all for the poetry sub-forum, was just re-reading The Rime of the Ancient Mariner this morning.
