Sounds like he then says under his breath 'and Iraq too' after correcting himself.

Bush may have a sliver of a conscious, but you can bet Liz Cheney ain't losing sleep over that invasion.

"In contrast, Russian elections are rigged."

Everyone forgets he stole that election too. That republicans rig elections all the time using shonky voting machines and even shonkier disenfranchisement practices. Imagine how different the world would be if that campaigner hadn't stolen that election.

Wouldn’t matter. When the towers went down, if Bush didn’t invade someone then he would have been voted out for someone who was going to. The problem is they invaded the wrong country.

Also, regarding the weapons of mass destruction lie, which is more relevant to this, people forge it was a lie that Saddam was also happy to have the world believe Iraq had them.

Maybe if the original invasion of Iraq wasn’t so successful the politicians wouldn’t have taken the second invasion so lightly and given the military the full force requested.

So many ifs and buts.

Like it or not. The US sent the world a message, if they bleed, everyone suffers huge generational consequences. Not saying it’s ok, but it is what it is.

Family connections are handy.

If Bush wasn't elected what makes you think 9/11 would have happened?

He's talking about this:

So naturally that means the Chinese get to lock us down whenever they feel like it.

And as we all know... if we didn't like the Public Service locking us down we are gonna hate that.
What could go wrong?

This coming from an organisation and Director-General that had Robert Magabe as an ambassador before the s**t hit the fan.

Almost certain we shouldn't be giving the WHO any powers whatsoever when it comes to pandemic response considering they lauded and still applaud China's response to Covid of locking millions down with massive food shortages and beating pets to death in the streets with batons.

You do know we are not giving them control over our hospital and health funding?

I will say, as someone who works in health, that no Australian government will cede health policy to the WFO
I thought we'd been through this mate.

I am not saying our government will cede health policy to the WHO, I am saying we will sign the treaty that will give the WHO certain powers over its members in tackling future pandemics and the ability to direct countries in what response should be taken.
