**** I never realised how much of a pain in the arse it would be to find an apartment to rent in the city. Agents are often unresponsive, real estate websites are laughably unintuitive, and database websites like realestate.com.au and others are frustrating to navigate and the filters you set don't seem to make a difference. No, campaigner, I said I did not want to see studio apartments!

Wait till you get there and people start offering to pay more then the advertised rent price. It’s so annoying. Might be different now though with the over supply of empty apartments in the cbd. Do you have your heart set on the city or would you do surrounding suburbs like Collingwood, Carlton, Abbotsford, Fitzroy etc? My favourite place to live was Collingwood, just off Smith street. Always something going on but that was over 10 years ago.

Was never a fan of the other side of the river, too pretentious.

I agree. My bro has lived in Brunswick/Carlton for 20 years. It's great around there. Good food, great bars, hidden breweries.

In short Sydney Rd > Chapel St.

First off, yes siblings and cousins fight. I fought with my male cousins all the time. We grew out of it though.

Secondly, not once have I stated that because the people he killed are scum that he should get a pass. I was just pointing out that they’re scumbags and the world is better off without them.
You could say that about one of them, that's all.

Brunswick is a good spot. I’ve lived here sine 2011. And for quality over quantity Lygon St Brunswick > Lygon street Carlton.

Though I’m currently renovating my house with the intention of selling so god knows where I’ll end up. Mrs Keating is keen on an old Brunswick West house but man those joints are extremely expensive.

Nah, i don't have my heart set on anywhere. As long as it's near public transport because I don't drive atm. I've been looking in a few of those suburbs but no luck yet, mostly due to the reasons above and my limited price range.

Yeah, I'm hearing you

My bro lives about 2 blocks from the Brunny train station and this old, crappy weatherboard house across the road went for over a $1Mill.

Is this the bloke you want really want to stick up for Ferbs? Look at all those domestic abuse charges, including strangulation witch is one of the tells that a domestic abuser will likely kill the person they’re abusing one day. The record is there for everyone to see.

100% irrelevant to the charges against Rittenhouse.

Growing up in the rough northern suburbs before the gentrification, the thought of 21st century Brunswickians calling others top pretentious is a weird feeling. People from Preston/Rezza feel like the inner city northern burbs are too pretentious. I always feel super weird in Brunswick, like everyone knows I haven't got much coin and am not very cool by their standards.

Well probably not so much Preston these days as that's a long cry from its past as well.

On an unrelated note, this is the first Spring in about 5 years I've gotten through without a significant neurological event. Not only that...I haven't even been hampered by my daily, less intense neurological symptoms, and my brain function appears to improving since doing this.

While I've been on a new medication for 2 years now, the only thing I've done differently this year compared to last is drinking about 1/3 glass of wine per night. I was normally very much a non drinker from about age 20 (which coincidentally is when things got worse health wise).

I have no ****ing idea how, or if it's placebo effect. I didn't start drinking a small bit of wine consciously for health reasons, it was really just because we bought a wine rack and got gifted a tonne of wine but at this point my wife and I are amazed at the turnaround since starting this...regimen? Habit?

I can't even think of a mechanism for why this would be working but it appears it is. If I tell my specialists will they tell me off, or actually be able to diagnose me? Decisions, decisions.

About a decade between us roughly

I lived there with my mum, my aunt and her two sons, my grandmother and grandfather. My grandparents (well grandmother truth be told) raised my mum and her two sisters there, not sure exactly how old they were when they first moved there but honestly if you think it was tough when we were kids the stories I’ve managed to drag out over the years would make your head spin.

A lot of the 60’s & 70’s crims came out of there and Mum grew up with half of them. Apparently it was a pretty tight knit community though, they all looked after each other.
