Apparently Greg Hunt has a staff member who is expecting, and this played a role in the decision to seek another candidate in the next election. Confusing to say the least.
I don’t know why parents, even staffers, in parliament aren’t given more support.

i don’t believe that for a moment. Even if you go down the discrimination path it makes zero sense unless Greg himself was the one expecting.

Whoever invented packaging for children's toys deserves to die a slow painful death.

I had to open two remote control cars at 6.30 this morning (i.e. before coffee) which required the removal of about 10 pieces of the world's strongest sticky tape, unscrewing four microscopic screws and cutting eight cable ties. That was before having to install two sets of batteries in each (AA for the cars, AAA for the remotes), requiring the removal of more microscopic screws.

As one could imagine, my three and five year olds waited patiently while I did this and totally didn't jump up and down on the couch right next to me, screaming "Is it ready yet?" every five seconds.

Did I mention that I had to do this BEFORE my morning coffee?

Theses episodes suck even more as your eyesight deteriates. Trying to find the end of that cello tape so you don't destroy the contents. And heaven forbid if you drop one of those miniscule screws.

With the Maxwell trial pretty much over, the closing arguments have been made in after a short break the jury is going to deliberate, I’d like to know what people’s thoughts are on what’s next?

Do they just stop with her and hope it all goes away? They did redact the flight logs after all.

Or

Do they go after the elites involved?

The latter will restore a lot of faith in the system, the elites come from all corners of the globe so it’s a world wide issue. It would be a massive undertaking but with all the footage and flight logs it’s definitely possible to bring justice.

Unfortunately I think they’ll just finish with Maxwell. Maxwell plead not guilty so she definitely didn’t name names.

The answer will show the world how power really works.

We have another Christmas lunch. We swap between my family and the in-laws every year. This year we had Christmas lunch with my in-laws on Christmas and we’ll have lunch with my family today.

The cricket will probably be on.

Today is crays, prawns, scallops, calamari and beers with the cricket on.

No way they're going after anyone. This whole thing has been an exercise in damage control.
