A strange thing just happened and I wonder if it’s happened to anyone else?

I was posting and a notification popped up saying “this website would like to track your location, allow, don’t allow, I pushed don’t allow and then a map popped up with my exact location on it.

I screenshot it, I would post it except it literally is a map with an icon where my house is. I’m not comfortable at all with that.

Edit- here’s the map. I blanked out enough so that you crazy mofos can’t see exactly where I live

I’m really questioning people

so last night at 7 my mum and I took the train home, we hoped on a carriage that smelt like throw up and indeed someone did throw up as there was a disgusting foul puddle of it on the floor so these 4 teen boys who were dead set the nicest people helped me and my mum move carriages. But what really puzzled me was HOW DO PEOPLE JUST SIT IN THE CARRIAGE WHEN IT SMELLS SO FOUL LIKE IT WAS SO PUNGENT LIKE HOW DO YOU EVEN.

IP's usually just give somewhere in your ISP's network.

Try going here: https://www.whatismyip.com

It will likely just show you your city, not your street address.

At a totally blind guess it just sounds like some sort of weird hack via another website or app using your phone's location information not your IP address. I've never seen it before.
