Has no one else noticed how there are literal MLM stores open as ‘nutrition’ smoothie and tea stores which uses Herbalife and they don’t disclose that it’s Herbalife and you see literal little kids drink it.

I used to go to libraries to do my quoting/invoicing so I wouldn’t get distracted by stuff at home, like the two little toddlers always climbing on me and wanting to push the buttons.

Libraries are cool. I was surprised by how many homeless people hung out there. Makes sense though.

Agreed. Libraries are good. I like to grab Clementine Ford's books, take them to the service desk, and then ask them why they have books written by a racist misandrist.

Back in my day if kids pulled that stunt the angry looking old lady behind the counter would tan your arse with a 1m ruler and then ban you from hiring out garfield/where's wally books for a month.

After that thing with the MP getting smashed for liking her I read up on some of her opinions to see what the fuss was about…actually I think it was brought up in this thread, I don’t think it’s just conservative dudes that she’s offensive to, she seems to hate men altogether. From memory she even stated that all men should be killed or something like that.

Don’t know about the context but that’s pretty full on. Though these contexts doesn’t mean much as we’ve seen with comedians and the like getting smashed.

My biggest criticism is that she sometimes goes too early and misrepresents her targets through lack of research or verification. Not alone there in our media, but should do better.
Like many others she is an opinion writer, not a journo.

She said that COVID wasn't killing men fast enough. And got smashed for it. (Rightly so, btw.)

I think she tries to be provocative, and it triggers some people. The fact that GG brought her up in this thread out of nowhere is exhibit A.

Like life goes too quickly and I feel sorry for the people that are so obsessed with what other people do whether that’s with their gender, sexuality, political stance, etc and like it begs the question whether they are living their life to their full potential. Like as a society who cares what other people do except when they are in a position of harm. Like the people who are expressing themselves the way they want to are the ones who enjoy life to the fullest. And when you just let people do what they wanna do and that sort you’re life just feels more peaceful and fulfilled because your focusing on yourself. My 2 cents

You may or may not take it for granted but honestly it's such a good thing that you've learnt this at your age. Be nice to those who are nice to you, love your friends and family, and just let the world's obsessions slide by.
