There are still people in jail in Qld for relatively minor weed offences (like possession of an ounce,) that happened last century according to someone I know. I dunno how to check up onthe claim tho. Once upon a time if you typed that exact sentence into google you'd get some useful info but not any more.

It’s pretty bad hey. Obviously some of those cons would be violent criminals, bit like bootleggers back in the prohibition days, but there’d be a lot that just liked weed.

Personally I don’t think that she was snatched by the Russians because of her CBD vape or because she’s gay (which is against the law in Russia), but purely as a political prisoner.

The bloke the US is going to let out is a seriously bad dude. It’s so different culture wise how it’s excepted that organised crime groups like the Bratva and the government are openly intertwined.
