How’s this for random - some ****ing campaigner stole my bicycle bell. A very nice bell it was too; a Crane e-ne in polished copper burnished over about 8 years to a lovely, rich bronze. I will be on the lookout for that bell for the rest of my days, and all I can say is: PITY THAT FOOL. THEY ****ED UP!!!

And because you don't have a bell anymore, they won't hear you coming.

Ding and Engimal v3

I reckon you can attract another three or four NMFC board members who would enjoy the game and the opportunity to slaughter me.

I will play if you are successful.

Natalia also remembers sending a lot of long emails, including to senior management at the university where she worked.

Natalia's delusions had escalated to the point where she was convinced she was about to become the new chancellor.

The next time she saw her kids, she told them about a plan to move the three of them to a desert island, where they would reinvent language together.

Shit is ruining lives

Ummmm, how about **** off

So, I dunno if there are any musos around here. Me, I spent much of my twenties going to gigs, and very occasionally playing at them too.

One of my unresolved bucket list items is to write and record one good album. Its basically a goal I've thought about most days of my adult life. I've done some DIY band recordings in the past, had a lark with some mates, but I've never managed to do the whole 40 minute cohesive aural journey thing.

That's what I'd like to do at some point over the next couple years. It wouldn't need to be a commercial success, just something I'm happy with, something that's true to my sensibilities, and something where I can play a few gigs afterwards and enjoy it.

I'm late thirties now. My "home office" is basically divided between the actual WFH space, and the modest but ageing collection of instruments I amassed over the years. Not much writing or any recording has happened since my three year old was born. And I want to change that.

Anyway, I've spent most of the past decade thinking about buying an analog synth. So I finally bit the bullet tonight. Feel like I've also struck bargain of the year, where I talked down some bloke on Gumtree on the price of his DSI Mopho x4 from $850 to $550. Its in excellent condition and he didn't even give off "fell off the back of a truck" vibes.

So now I don't think I have any excuses left. Its time to start finishing some of these arrangements that have been sitting around on my drives for years.

A half-eaten great white shark that washed up at a beach near Portland had been mauled by a pod of killer whales, with marine biologists now keenly monitoring the relationship between the two fierce predators.

Been confirmed orca did it ferball

The very very strong inference is that there's been cultural transfer of knowledge between the South African orca tribe/nation and the whales that inhabit our southern coasts.

AFAIK they speak different dialects. But there has to be some contact between the various groups of orca around the world to maintain genetic diversity.

Looks like they've come up with someone new to distract us from the failing climate change scam.

thats what I dont get about our inflation issues. Rather than rising interest rates there should be a strong Gov PR campaign to tell people to stop bloody spending.

The OECD released a report that much of our inflation is profit-price driven rather than demand-price inflation.

Spending keeps people in jobs. Extra profits do not. I know which one I'd like to curb.

We have a consumption based economy
