The funny thing about Rogan is that he’s just a comic/cage fighting commentator and people expect him to be a scholar or something. He’s not. There’s far more controversial podcasters out there.

The other day he had Stavros on and the discussed weather or not squirting is really just piss for 20 minutes (was absolutely hilarious btw).

Is it because he’s so popular that some people don’t like him? Tall poppy syndrome? I wonder if his critics ever listen to his podcast or just watch clip edits and form an opinion based on that?

A similar thing happened to Tom Segura because he was doing a bit about wash clothes are for poors. Anyone who actually watches your moms house knows he was just mucking around.

Rubbish. He talks to people from all walks of life. Comics, fighters, actors, doctors, scientists, people on the cutting edge of technology, hunters, The innocence project, even people he’s completely ideologically against like the director of the Babylon bee. He just like talking to people he’s interested in. Hunter Biden was going to go on but his old man’s crew blocked it.

I think they don't like that his listeners very often fall down into some bad rabbit holes, sometimes reinforced by guests he has on.

However, I think it's more correlation and less causation, and that he's not deliberately malicious. I reckon most of those people would've been down that path anyway and it's on them to pull themselves out of it.
