The part that I found funny was that he wanted it to be free speech and comedy, everyone can have a blue tick if they pay $8 a month. People then started using his name and photo with a blue tick to make fun of him, Elon- the genius- couldn’t see that coming and did not like it at all.

The lunch thing is nothing. Don’t think I even know anyone that has their food supplied by their employer.

Its volunteer work but when we're fighting fires we get food supplied by the catering brigade. They operate on a budget so tight you can't breathe thru it but still keep us fed.

Volunteers should definitely get a free lunch.

Back in the days when government controlled everything, they wasted so much money on things like giving huge lunches to people.

They used to operate on a budget of less than $2 per person, and would keep us fed for 12 hour shifts in the middle of whoop whoop, sometimes an hour or more from the nearest road. Some times the food was crap but once a certain bunch of people settled in the job it was excellent.

In Silicon Valley it’s pretty standard for meals (not just lunch) to be supplied.
