I always find it humourous when people like SIT run defence for Biden and then bring it back to █████ lol. like they are part of the campaign team.

As if mentioning the laptop and wanting to get to the bottom of it makes you a Republican voter.

Some people just want the truth. Or find the saga interesting.

Of course he gave him the docs. Should be some more coming any time now.

They all write exactly the same thing. Some of them word for word. I’m not suggesting it was coordinated, just that none of them can think for themselves and have a protect the hive. They’re just worker bees. It’s hilarious.

I love the line about "running pr for the world's richest man".

We don't know who the world's richest man is for a start.

But its like the use of the term "conspiracy theory". That phrase is a little mental programming that stops conscious thought.

Its a process that goes - "I don't have to consider the merits of this situation because its been decided" and is a form of groupthink.

Its a response programmed into people to trigger their associated in group/out group memes. The groundwork is already there, its an evolutionary process that enables animals to live in social groups. You could probably find that neurocircuitry throughout the mammallian world and even find similar processes in social invertebrates like scorpions and ants, maybe based in pheromones.

There is a particular identity - "left wing", well more progressive than left really, liberal (as in supports markets and individual rights,) generally less ****ed than racist arseholes but there will be situations where they aren't. people access twitter, other social media sites and take their cues from influencers. Same thing happens on the other side of politics. (Especially Fox news and shock jocks like Ray Hadley etc etc.) Both "sides" do it and as a result all discourse is framed within those two allowable identities., Its not even a spectrum between those two poles either. they are discrete seperate identities and no cross over is tolerated.

Everyone is vulnerable to this, especially you and me, Val (but also especially everyone else lol). Its basically being owned by your biases.

Being progressive or working hard at not being racist doesn't make you immune. In fact the idea that it does is one of the things that turns those people into robots. The only thing that helps imo is to consider that you are always wrong, challenge every idea you have and if it stands up then its worth keeping. The only way you can challenge it is to consider things from the completely opposite perspective. Even then you're probably still mired in personal biases and trapped by them to a point.

There were internal discussions about posting probable hacked materials from dubious source. Tough call imo.

Because I don’t know. This story is about the suppression of the laptop.

I imagine though that we’ll find out what else has gone on, hence “Twitter files“ with the promise of more stories.

I’m curious about what else has been suppressed. Or what algorithms were pushed. Hopefully the lid gets blown right off the lot.
