Hey Kosh. Doing Bairnsdale & L E. during Jan. Any good little hideaway spots, eg; wineries, cafe's, galleries ?

There is a boat tour on north arm that goes to the wyanga winery, also look out for the banners at the boat morings, some of the fishing boats along the esplinade sell fresh prawns direct to public and will have banners up when available, lakes local prawns are smaller than king prawns but are much sweeter. nip over to lake tyres waterwheel pub, best in area imo and there is also the red bluff brewery on the corner of the lake tyres turnoff. You can also nip off the highway between lakes and bairndale to metung, another great pub that looks out on the water . Dunno about galleries but there is a quirky 2nd hand shop like an old school trading post that sells some quirky stuff EDIT the trading post has closed down now.. Its on the way out of lakes on left heading towards tyres on top of hill. Re cafes near corner of myer st and esplinaade theres are a few cafes that do great brekkies.

Sovereign Citizens is a stupid name for that group. If they were being honest, they would change it to Ignorant, Whiny, Self-Absorbed campaigners.
