I would be concerned if my worldview was limited to what I see on Tik Tok or Youtube. I think identity politics has found its way into the education system, particularly in America, to a lesser extent here as well but I think there is growing pushback against it. Parents need to be aware of what their children are exposed to in the education system and if it is something that breaches our laws of discrimination or hate speech laws then parents should play a more proactive role in weeding it out if it is present in your schools or removing your kids from that school and put them in one that doesn't condone hate speech.

I think reality can differ significantly depending on where you are, I think multicultural issues are less problematic in say Melbourne than it is in say regional QLD. I am of the firm belief that intolerance stems primarily from ignorance and lived experience. A minority sometimes have a very negative lived experience to that of the majority and it can distort the world view of these people. It is important to sympathise with people who have had a negative experience.

I am also thankful that I grew up in an era where there was no social media and my hot takes as an idiotic younger person wasn't immortalised on the internet. You don't see a lot of older people with regressive views, it is more common in younger people who have never been outside of their comfort zone and seen what it is like in the reset of the world. Privilege is extended to everyone who enjoys the spoils of this system. It comes down to what you make of your time on this planet.

Perfect, send the bowler almost back to the fence and set the keeper 30 metres away from the wicket. Have him mutter to the slip cordon his hands have barely recovered from last week.

And just watch what unfolds, the batter has plenty of time as the bowler charges in to think about the frailties of life and other such maudlin thoughts.

He'll swing about 30 seconds early and get bowled if it's on the stumps, I've seen it before lol.

Ol Fast Eddie Forward the slowest fast bowler you could ever wish to meet. The batter had time for two swings at it, but was off balance come the second swing and got bowled neck and crop.

Have to be up there as one of the funniest things I've ever seen on a cricket field.
