Looks to me to be far more about managing the fallout and protecting The Big Guy than seeking justice though.

Personally I don’t think the Dems are that interested in protecting the big guy. They’ll want him to step aside for the next election, problem is they don’t have anyone to replace him with yet. Harris is very unpopular.

I reckon the Democrats are more keen on getting Biden over the line against Trump and then replacing him.
