Our old Cat 7 was one of those. The places it went...

We followed this bulldozer up a fire break it was making once. We got to the top the dozer turned around and didn't want to go back down the fire break cos it was a mm or two off vertical. Naturally the old truck made it down but we had to get off the back cos we literally couldn't hang on anywhere. Rock climbed our way down to more level ground.

It’s awful. My sister is in a similar position. They gave her about a month just over a month ago. It’s really shocking what they go through. She’s not always herself. Smoked a blunt with her about 2 weeks ago, and man did we laugh…and cry. For some reason she’s always found me funny, not that I am, just my personality makes her laugh, she says it’s my honesty even when it’s inappropriate. That’s something I spose, being able to get her to laugh.

She thinks she can hang in till Christmas, she’s a tough bitch, but honestly she only weighs about 40kgs now and I can’t imagine her hanging out that long….only takes her catching a cold or something and that’ll be it.

This is true. But the charges are politicially motivated. He tried to stop the swearing in of the next guy who got elected. Everyone on the US political gravy train is against him because of that. Whatever side of the property party they are on.

I've got a friend who calls █████ a kayfabe fascist. In that he played up to that image (of a wannabe fascist leader) without really believing in it. He thinks the stage is being set for the next guy, whoever that is, to lead the real fascist uprising in the states. Gives it another five years at most. Ie by the next presidential election cycle.

Medicinal only, and we have no sensible driving impairment testing in place. Meaning if you've consumed any form of cannabis within the last 10~ days and then get tested, you're in massive s**t.

FWIW I've been to various car accidents in this area for decades ... very few fatalitiues and very few accidents really. Even less with serious connection to cannabis use. Nimbin is less than 10km by Crow from where I'm typing this.

I know how many people drive around here with at least some cannabis in their system. If it was as bad as alcohol there would be dead people everywhere...

Its not just albo its the whole mindset. As much as i abhor the sort of ranting and scaremongering dutton, joyce and even sam newman are going on with i cant see any tangable outcomes that will improve aboriginal health and wellbeing. Its just more symbolism and 350mil that could be better spent. A lot of food or wages for more teachers for starters.

Even warren mundine said as much on a radio inverview recently.

It was an invasion but it was provoked. I don't see how anyone who has followed the details of that place over the last decade could see it any differently. Its for another thread obviously but I posted documents in that thread from US companies like Stratfor/Rand and their briefings about how provoking Putin could be beneficial for the US by chellenging his economy. They acknowledged the risk with that strategy was that it could result in an invasion of Ukraine.

For some reason I woke up this morning thinking about the time WallStreetBets went after that hedge fund (Melvin Capital) that shorted GameStop and all the dodgy shit that happened, especially Robinhood letting the hedge fund get out whilst stopping people from buying GME. Melvin went bust but they still got out with a lot of money by bending the rules.

Does anyone know what happened with that? There is a class action suit against Robinhood and a movie was made, but has anyone from Robinhood or Melvin looking at criminal charges?
