After the Canberra fire in 2023 there was a burnt out car with a puddle of metal underneath cos the engine head had melted.

But there are bodies all over Lahaina that are unidentifiable as to whether they are human or animal remains. 1000 people unaccounted for, maybe half of them children... the footage I've seen of the wind during the fire is horrific.

I've seen some wild shit in fires and had moments where I wondered if my kids would ever see me again but that wind they had is like nothing I've ever seen associated with a fire. It would have been terrifying, then to have no water available from hydrants.

Bloody hell.

In the UK you get mandatory jail for carrying a handgun or a knife, on the grounds of wtf were you going to do with it but seriously injure someone.

Not always mate. Quite often you would see a charge of intentionally causing injury. Especially if its a 1 v 1 and you dont kick the head afterwards.

Intentionally causing serious injury isnt usually an isolated charge or intentionally causing grievous bodily harm.
