But you keep digging down and it really presents as if you think women are simply sex objects, and that it's okay for an adult woman to groom a minor because 'yay, that young boy got LAID!'. But if the gender roles are reversed, it somehow becomes abuse and predatory???

Personally I'm glad to live in a society that is much more thoughtful and protective of the interests of children.
The world doesn't uniformly progress positively over time, but in some ways it does. I remember years ago reading quotes from 19th century British parliamentary debates containing howls of outrage over laws to prohibit sex with girls under 12, over denying their sons the pleasures the MPs had had with maid servants.
Very few, if any, of those names on your list would have had sex with under-age girls since the 1970s and I sincerely hope it is a much tinier cohort of rock stars today who engage in paedophilia (which may not be the clinically correct term but I prefer to keep the associated smear)

I went to the magistrates court again and wow the magistrate was so nice!!

I was the only observer in the room and one of the cases he had ended so he started talking to me about sentencing it was pretty cool.

That case was a bit wild and as usual unorganised the prosecution didn’t have any VIS so they had to push sentencing back but also said I could keep following this case if I wish.

Here's the thing though - even American Pie (which came out 24 years ago) was very careful to make it clear that the Finch character who sleeps with Stifler's mum was 18 years of age.

Age of consent here is 16, so its kind of immaterial.

And as I said earlier, I think most people would find a 16 year old male and woman in her mid 30s having the SECKS pretty gross and problematic even outside of any setting where it is governed by laws like a school.
