Nah, my role was to improve/repair relationships with priority communities (LGBTIQA+/multicultural/disability etc).

When I was younger, in the early 90s, that was one part of the world I'd have liked to go to. Its opne of the places Gurfjieff and his crew ended up in. Sounds amazing.

There's a valley out the back of Sydney that is almost impossible to find. It has a two or three metre wide opening at the top and its about a metre wide to get into it. It is in the middle of some really dry country but holds a wet patch of wet rainforest. Maybe less than a hectare in size all up.

There would be places like that all thru those mountains in central Asia. Been stories about spots like that for centuries. No way you'd speak to the outside world if you lived in one I reckon.

These are the valleys that allowed our psychotically aggressive but physically weak species to progress across the planet in one small genocide after another.

They are where we will retreat and survive if the we really cook the planet.

I had an old hippie mate who travelled thru Afghanistan in the very early 70s. He said it probably wasn't the same for women but he travelled thru some wild tribal locations and was looked after by people who probably ended up becoming the Taliban. Because back then their millenia old traditions of hospitality were still in play. The idea that 50 years later they'd be capturing travellers for ransom would have appalled those old psychos...

Why did the Harvey Weinstein stuff come out decades after it happened? Why did the Jeff Epstein stuff come out when it did?

Timing doesn't always have to be sinister.

He hasn’t been charged or anything. It’s just accusations been made on a tv show where 3 or the 4 who made the allegations remained anonymous.

At the moment it has the same credibility as the article the ABC did about Clarko, Fagan and Burt.

Let’s wait and see if he’s charged ey.

Its like Saville, the shocking behaviour was an open secret in the industry.

But he's such a predatory scumbag that every time he moved somewhere else after his shocking behaviour had made unwelcome in one scene (like how he fled to Hollywood after the UK media became untenable) he just did it again.

Until he ran out of options and had to run his bullshit Reject Shop conspiratorial stuff like now.

It was only after he'd been dropped by agents, studios, the BBC etc and their armies of lawyers (because they all knew the truth) that people could come forward without fear of being silenced by legal terrorism.
